From Fr Andy

To confreres of the EAO Region,
The month of June is a month dedicated in a particular way to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. I wish all a happy feast on 11 June! May each one of us remember the love of Jesus for each one of us; this is what is basically expressed in the great sign of His sacred heart. As the apostle and evangelist John wrote: Love consists in this: it is not we who loved God, but God loved us and sent his Son to expiate our sins. (1 John 4:10)
I sincerely and firmly believe that we can grow more easily and even more quickly in virtue if only we constantly remind ourselves of Jesus’ love for each one of us. It is a gratuitous love, completely free, generously given to us without our deserving it. And even when we sadly become unfaithful to the Lord Jesus, his love never stops; it is never conditioned by our sins and infidelities. Jesus continues to love us even when we fail to love Him. May I remind you of the beautiful hymn to God’s love to prove what I am saying?
“For I am certain of this: neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nothing already in existence and nothing still to come, nor any power, nor the heights nor the depths, nor any created thing whatever, will be able to come between us and the love of God, known to us Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)
May I also take this chance to encourage you to offer prayers and mortifications for the grace of more vocations to the Salesian Brother vocation? We surely need more Salesian Brothers perhaps most especially in the context of our East Asia Oceania region.
I keep you in my prayers and sacrifices. Remember me sometimes in yours.

In Don Bosco,
Fr. Andrew Wong

thanks for this message reminding us that our style of education must come from the heart. On this day of June 11, we are closing the year of priests here in Cambodia. Mey all priests have the heart of Jesus in their pastoral ministries,

Yes Fr. Andy, that is the important message and experience that we have to share with the young and treasure at all times: the Love of God for each one of us, beyond our goodness, beyond our weaknesses and sins, beyond whatever we can imagine and think of. It is really looking beyond any type of love. God bless us all.
